Let House of Hush bring you back to the golden age of live theatre!

STARRING Edmonton's Beau Creep! An interdisciplinary performance artist, host and producer, Beau has garnered international attention; appearing on stages across Canada, USA, and Europe as well as received numerous awards for his over-the-top stage shows. Combining the satire and “punk-factor” of neo-burlesque with the effervescence and sophistication of classic striptease, he uses his background in improv-theatre, clown, and sideshow to paint elaborate commentaries on pop culture and current socio-political issues. He firmly believes that he would’ve run away to join the circus had he not been too busy being raised by drag queens and showgirls but his worlds were meant to collide and he has become his own fabulous three-ring spectacle.

It has been standing at 103 Street and 103 Avenue for over 100 years, having survived 2 fires, 2 world wars, prohibition and millions of patrons staying—and most likely finding some form of trouble(fun)—within it’s four walls. For our November show the House of Hush imagines some of these scandals, love affairs, travellers and business deals. Paying sexy tribute to this piece of #yeg history.

Friday, Dec 7: "A Classic Christmas"
